A Few Words About Us

Our_Story.png

The Stables at Connoquenessing was originally built in 1928 as part of the Spang Estate. What was once a working barn home to Belgian draft horses and Guernsey cows, has now been renovated into a rustic, yet elegant two-story event facility. During the 1950s, peacocks, chickens, ducks, and geese could be found roaming the portion of the property that is now occupied by a covered patio, well-kept landscaping, and ample green space that creates a beautiful natural setting for all of your future events.

The Stables reopened in 2017 after undergoing extensive renovations for over a year, such as the addition of 30 feet of structure to accommodate a catering kitchen and covered patio. The lower level includes a hand-crafted bar, cozy cocktail space, bridal-ready room, and intimate dining area, while the upstairs is dedicated to the spacious banquet hall.

In addition to modern upgrades like climate control, handicapped-accessible restrooms on both floors, and an elevator, the original stable doors have been rejuvenated and incorporated into the current architecture, creating the perfect blend of antique charm and contemporary elegance in which to celebrate all of life’s milestones.
